You will not want to miss the first-ever Professional Kite Flying Festival at Brookfield Zoo! Professional kite fliers will be on-hand to display their biggest and best kites. At 11:00 a.m. on the East Mall, the first 2,500 kids (11 and under) will receive their very own kite to take home. Kites will be for sale from chicago kite for guests to purchase however, only the professional fliers will be allowed to fly their kites on zoo grounds.

Admission to the Children's Zoo and Hamill Family Play Zoo will be FREE for the Professional Kite Flying Festival. There will be kite crafts and activities at the Hamill Family Play Zoo.
